This morning I left work to film the announcment, I was so apprhensive. I honestly didn't know what was going to happen. When I arrived at the event I immediatly felt so at home. The people there were so lovely and everyone seemed worried. The couple in front of me especially. I managed to captrue the moment they find out that the result is a big fat YES! Their love makes me so happy. You can just tell the utter relief and sheer joy. Finally we see hope for a future where we are treated with the respect we deserve. I LOVE THESE TWO SO MUCH! The footage of Penny Wong breaking down is so powerful. She has been outstanding in this fight. Her determination has been epic and to see her breakdown at the news of the result was a moment i'll never forget. I am looking forward to this becoming law! 🏳️‍🌈😭♥️

Penny Wong - Senator for SA is my favorite Australian politician and I hope one day she becomes the Prime Minister of Australia! She's been at the forefront of recent efforts to legalize same-sex marriage in Australia and this is the moment she learned that >60% of Australian's had voted in favor of equality.
